Welcome, new students. We are so excited for you to join us! Spring Orientation events take place from April to May, with Orientation Day on Friday, May 3, 2024.

First year students kick off their first school year with a month of orientation events, including Orientation Day. Orientation is the ultimate opportunity to provide you with a warm welcome, and to ease you into college life. Make sure you attend your Program Information Session on May 3. This session is very important, so mark your calendars!

Important Tips

You can pick your student ID card up on campus 1 business day after submitting your photo online. Visit the ID Cards page to learn more and to submit your photo.

Your first day of class is Monday, May 6. Visit the Important Dates page for other important dates and deadlines for this academic term.

Before classes start, take part in free online Pre-Orientation sessions. No registration is necessary. You’ll learn about MyNC, Brightspace, timetables, and all the amazing services NC has to offer.
